Cutting the boards to length was repetitive work. I grabbed a board from the pile, marked where to cut it, handed it to Tom, who cut the board and put it in a pile. After all the boards a certain length were cut, the boards were labeled "A", "B", "C", "D", or "E".
We cut 130 boards in the morning, took a break for lunch, and cut another 60 boards in the afternoon. Altogether, it took us five hours in one day to cut all the boards to length.

In two hours, the base angles were cut for half the boards and then labeled. A 'stopper' was made to help the job go faster.

Next, the arrowheads were cut. The pentagon boards were cut first and tested to see how they fit together. They weren't perfect and hoped they'd be okay. Then the hexagon boards were cut and came together a little better. The more we did it, the better we got.
